Toronto's Brittney Sykes (plantar fascia) and Kiki Rice (ankle) are expected to miss extended time, the team announced.
The Tempo's Brittney Sykes left the court in the third quarter with a noncontact foot injury. Toronto coach Sandy Brondello said Sykes will be evaluated and the hope was the injury isn't too serious.
The expansion Tempo have agreed to two-year contracts with guards Marina Mabrey and Brittney Sykes, their agent told ESPN.
